Best day trips from Málaga with no car – and any that aren't worth it?

With four days and no car, do two day trips at most and keep two days for the city. We would pick Caminito del Rey for the cliff walk – book weeks ahead, it sells out – and Ronda for the gorge, both easy by train or coach. Nerja and Frigiliana make a gentler half-day. Granada is worth it, but it is a long bus day and the Alhambra needs its own timed ticket, so only go if you will build the day around that slot.
