Hi, good morning. We’re looking to book the 2½-hour guided kayak tour for next Wednesday and just wanted to check availability. There will be 6 adults, 1 child aged 11, 2 children aged 7, and 2 children aged 4½. Could you please let us know: * What tour times are available on Wednesday? * Are the two 4½-year-olds able to join the tour? * Does this tour include the Maro Waterfall? * We understand the adult price is €28 each. Could you also let us know the price for the 11-year-old, the 7-year

Yes, contactless works directly at the turnstiles now. Just tap your card or phone when entering and tap out at your destination. Super easy.

Hi everyone! We are staying near Calle Larios for 4 nights. Looking for authentic tapas bars where locals actually eat, not tourist traps with pictures on the menu. Any hidden gems in walking distance?

Planning to rent a car for a week to explore Ronda and Nerja. Is it a nightmare to drive and park inside Malaga city center? Or should we only rent for the day trip days?

Hey, found a nice apartment near El Perchel / Trinidad area. Is it safe to walk back late at night after dinner in the Old Town? Traveling solo.

@Antoine_P El Perchel (near Maria Zambrano) is very safe and convenient. Trinidad is generally fine too, but like in any city, stick to main well-lit streets late at night. Malaga is generally considered a safe city for solo travellers. Just use the same common sense you would anywhere else late at night.

Does anyone know a good bakery near Plaza de la Merced that opens early (around 7am)?

@Emma Panadería La Canasta on Plaza de la Merced opens super early (around 6:30 or 7am) and their freshly baked croissants are amazing.

@Marathon20026 Driving around the historic centre can be a hassle because of traffic restrictions and limited access. If your hotel doesn't have parking, leave the car in one of the underground car parks nearby. For day trips, picking up a car at Maria Zambrano station just for the days you leave the city is way less stress.

@TheFelixOne Walk straight to Calle Larios – there's an official Vodafona and Movistar shop right there. Quick setup with passport.

@Alex Don't panic! Check guided tour options on GetYourGuide or Civitatis – tour operators hold separate ticket quotas. Worth checking the official website again from time to time too – cancelled tickets do show up occasionally.

@jcKilgannon Try La Terraza del Chinitas (hidden gem in Pasaje Chinitas) or AC Hotel Malaga Palacio rooftop for 360 views of cathedral & port. Both great spots.

@Freyja Avoid Larios main strip for food. Just walk a couple of minutes to Cortijo de Pepe near Plaza de la Merced (try the berenjenas con miel!). Also check out La Tranca on Calle Carretería – legendary vermut on tap and amazing empanadas.

@piotr_wawa Morrissey's Irish Pub near Calle Granada is the best spot for footy. Plenty of screens and great vibe.

Hi @Chris_wild, I had a quick look around but can't promise these details match your exact booking. The guided route does normally include the Maro Waterfall, which is one of the main highlights. As for Wednesday, I found operators offering morning departures, but exact times and availability depend on the company and whether places are still available. Regarding the children, many operators have reduced prices for kids and often allow younger children to join under certain conditions, but the age rules can vary between companies. Since you're a group of 11 people, it's definitely worth checking directly with the tour provider so they can confirm availability, child pricing and whether the two 4½-year-olds can join.
