Yes – the Puente Nuevo spanning the 120-metre Tajo gorge is one of the defining sights of Andalusia, and the old bullring and Moorish quarter round out a strong half to full day. It is the day trip the rest of the Costa del Sol gets compared to.
How do you get to Ronda from Málaga?+
By coach (about 1h45, direct from Málaga bus station), by scenic train via Bobadilla (about 2 hours), or by car in roughly 1h30. From Marbella it is about an hour by Avanza bus.
What is the nearest airport to Ronda?+
Málaga–Costa del Sol, about 1h30 by road. Ronda has no airport; Seville and Jerez are the next closest, both around 2 hours away.
How long do you need in Ronda?+
A half to full day covers the bridge, the bullring and the old town. Staying overnight lets you see the viewpoints before the coach tours arrive around 11:00 and after they leave in the afternoon.
Ronda or Córdoba – which day trip is better?+
They have different draws: Ronda for the gorge, the bridge and an easy coach day; Córdoba for the Mezquita, reachable in under an hour by AVE train. For the classic Andalusian image on a single trip from Málaga, take Ronda.
