Stupa Benalmádena in the Pueblo is the highest inland viewpoint, free to visit, and usually quiet at sunset. The white dome against an orange sky is one of the more unusual views in southern Spain.

Best Time of Year for Couples
April to June and September to October are the strongest months. Sunsets are good, the coast is warm enough for the beach and boat trips, outdoor dining is comfortable and the crowds are below August peak.
July and August are livelier but hotter and busier – restaurants fill up, the beaches are rammed and the marina gets crowded. Still enjoyable, but less relaxed.
Winter is quiet – some rooftop venues and chiringuitos close, but the cable car, the Pueblo and most restaurants remain open. Good for couples who want Benalmádena without the summer crowds.
